Rosemary  Fosland
Rosemary (Schindler) Fosland, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend gently and quietly passed to join her husband Barry on February 12, 2018 at her home at Casa De Oakes in Reedsburg. She was born on October 11, 1940, in Berne, Minnesota, the daughter of Rudy and Marion (Quall) Schindler. On June 14, 1969, Rosemary was united in marriage to Barry D. Fosland in Berne, MN. This marriage was blessed with two children, Tracy and Chris. Rosemary was a passionate teacher who touched countless lives. She taught in the Reedsburg School District starting in 1968 and retiring in 2000. Additionally, she served as a missionary in Turkey prior to completing college.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barry on July 27, 2003; her parents Marion and Rudy and her sister, Darlene.

Rosemary was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Tracy (David) Joe of Madison, WI; her son, Chris (Taya) Fosland of Bismarck, ND; and her 6 grandchildren, Dawson and Lanee (Tracy); Drew, Noah, Alek and Abby (Chris).

Funeral services for Rosemary Fosland will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Ev. Church, in Reedsburg, with Pastor David Glesne officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, and on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church.

The family wants to recognize Pastor David of St. John Lutheran Church and the wonderful staff at Casa de Oakes for loving and comforting care.

The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
