Duane H. Brooks, 80, of Reedsburg, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, at St. Mary Hospital in Madison.
Duane was born October 12, 1937, in Reedsburg to the late Oren and Edna (Roever) Brooks. He graduated from University of WI Platteville. On May 7, 1960, he married Barbara Dobson. Together the couple farmed in the Dellona township for over 45 years.
Duane was active with the Reedsburg School Board, and Chairman of the Dellona Town Board, both for over twenty years.
In addition to his wife Barbara, he is survived by his children;
Kay Mathews of FL,
Alan (Kari) Brooks of Prairie du Sac,
Gene (Anita) Brooks of Baraboo,
Thomas (Tina) Brooks of Lyndon Station.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and his brother Donald Brooks.
Per Duane’s wishes, family services will take place at a later date
